1. 03 September, Friday – Aja Ekadashi
The importance of Aja Ekadashi has been known since ancient times. Lord Krishna in Brahmavaivarta Purana explained the importance of this vrat to Bandawa’s eldest son, Yudhisthira. This vrat was even performed by Raja Harishchandra and as a result, he recovered his dead son and lost the kingdom.
Therefore, this vrat will inspire a person to choose a path of redemption and ultimately to break free from the cycle of life and death. The observer of Aja Ekadashi vrat must control his body, emotions, behavior, and food. Fasting will purify the soul.

It is mentioned in Hindu pujas and in the Bible that when a person holds Aja Ekadashi vrat with all his heart, all his sins in this life will be forgiven. 5. 10 September, Friday -Ganesha Chaturthi
Ganesh Chaturthi is a celebration of the birth of Lord Ganesh, the god of wisdom, wealth, and good luck. It is said that before starting again, worshiping Lord Ganesha is the most important thing.
His blessing not only gave strength and wisdom to move forward but also removed any obstacles that might be encountered on the road to success. Therefore, this festival is a celebration of a new beginning and symbolizes new dawn.
According to the Hindu calendar, Ganesh Chaturthi is usually a 10-day festival starting from the Shukla paksha Chaturthi (the fourth day of the new moon) in the month of Bhadrapada. It is usually between August 19 and September 20 in the English calendar. Ganesh Chaturthi festival ends on Anant Chaturdasi day, which is the fourteenth day of Bhadrapada Shukla paksha.
6. 11 September, Saturday -Rishi Panchami, Shasti
Shasti is observed on the sixth day of each two-week lunar calendar, namely Shukla Paksha (full moon) and Krishna Paksha (full moon) in each lunar month in the traditional Indian calendar. Therefore, Shasti occurs twice a month. However, the Shasti that fell during Krsna’s Paksha are related to Lord Subrahmanya or Lord Murugan.

7.14 September, Tuesday-HindiDay, Radha Ashtami, Durga Ashtami Vrat
Radha Ashtami is also known as “Radha Jayanti” or “Radhashtami”. Hindu followers worship the goddess Radha with utmost piety and passion. This day is also to commemorate the bond of selfless love between Sri Krishna and Radha, which is the unique relationship between man and God.

Radha Ashtami is celebrated 15 days after Janmashtami, which is the birthday anniversary of Sri Krishna. On the occasion of Radha Ashtami, pujas and special prayers are held in Lord Krishna’s temple, especially in northern India.
ISCKON (International Association of Krishna Consciousness) temples at home and abroad celebrate this festival with joy. The celebrations in Barsana, the birthplace of Mathura, Vrindavan, and Ratha, were even grand.
8.19 September, Sunday -Ganesha Visarjan
The last day of Ganeshotsav is celebrated as Anant Chaturdashi (Anant Chodesh), and it is celebrated as Ganesh Visarjan (Ganpati Visarjan) in the Indian states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The idol of Lord Ganesh is submerged in large sources of water such as the sea, the river, or the lake.
In some areas of northern India, people wear a 14-knot thread on the arm as a resolution. This thread is also called Anant, which is why it is called Anant Chaturdashi.
9. 20 September, Monday – Purnima
Purnima has a special place in many religions, especially Hinduism. The Indian lunar calendar attaches great importance to the lunar cycle, and Purnima is considered very auspicious, especially suitable for worship and the observance of religious vows.
