Gods and goddesses are said to have favourite colours, according to the Bible. The nine varieties of Shakti’s favourite colours are also described in the texts. If you worship by donning armour in the colour of Maa Durga’s choice every day during Navratri, you will undoubtedly receive Mata Rani’s blessings.
In our life, colours give us hope. In life, colour conveys zeal. Colours provide us with a burst of vitality. Every colour is sacred to some goddess or deity, just as we choose one over the other (devta). In this case, every day during Navratri should be dressed in bright colours. You can receive Mata Raani’s particular grace if you keep this in mind.
For the nine days of NAVRATRI, wearing BLACK CLOTHES is PROHIBITED.
Different Colors For Different day
Pratipada Day /first day of Navratri – On this day, Maa Shailputri, the daughter of the mountain lord Himalaya, is worshipped. Mata Shailputri’s makeup is done by wearing a brown sari, and the devotee should be immersed in devotion by wearing yellow clothing. Wearing this colour of clothing during and after the puja is auspicious.
On the second day, Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped. Brahma is the word for penance, while Charini is the word for behaviour. As a result of the mother’s behaviour at the time, they dressed her in orange.
On the third day, Goddess Chandraghanta, Maa Durga’s third form, is worshipped by the same devotee dressed in a green dress. Mata Chandraghanta should wear a white gown. Mother Goddess will be happier if time dresses in brown on this particular day.
On the fourth day,This day is dedicated to Mata Kushmanda, Maa Durga’s fourth incarnation. Simply dress up as the mata in a red dress and ask for her blessings while dressed in orange.
On the fifth day of Navratri, the Goddess Skandmata is worshipped. Dress the Goddess in a blue gown on this particular day. Wearing white-coloured clothing is considered good for worshippers. Durga Maa’s younger manifestation is Mata Katyayani. This is the day when devotees dress the mother in yellow.
On theSixth day of Navratri,the Goddess Katyayani is worshipped . Devotees adorn the Maa Durga with Yellow color dress. Devotees should wear red clothes on this particular day.
On the seventh day, devotees themselves, clothed in red, worship Mata Kalratri. The body of Mata Kalratri’s resistance is black in colour. A garland hangs around the neck, and three eyes are strewn throughout the head’s hair.
As a result, Mahagauri is worshipped on Ashtami wearing blue clothing on Saptami. Mata Mahagauri’s peacock-coloured make-up. On this day, followers are advised to wear pink-coloured clothing. Maa Siddhidatri bestows accomplishment on the devotees on the ninth day. On this day, followers are advised to wear purple-coloured clothing.
