Reliable industry sources stated on Monday that the Galaxy Fold4 will cost Rs 1.55 lakh in India while the foldable Samsung Galaxy Flip4 will cost Rs 90,000.
According to sources, this year’s price increase over last year’s foldable devices is due to changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate and global market considerations.
In any event, Samsung has taken the most severe impact of the currency variance into account in order to provide the best estimation to Indian customers, the business sources continued.
In the previous year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Flip 3 5G (8+128GB) for Rs 84,999 and the Galaxy Fold 3 5G (12+256GB) for Rs 149,999.
On August 16, the new foldable will be released in India, and customers may pre-order their devices through live commerce on the company’s website starting at 12 in the afternoon.
According to a previous announcement from the firm, customers who pre-order Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 through this specific method will receive rewards totaling Rs 40,000.
Additionally, those who pre-book will also receive a gift worth Rs. 5,199. Reliable industry sources stated on Monday that the Galaxy Fold4 will cost Rs 1.55 lakh in India while the foldable Samsung Galaxy Flip4 will cost Rs 90,000.
According to the business, “as part of the live commerce, the exclusive Bespoke Edition for Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Galaxy Z Fold4 with 1TB storage option will also be offered on Samsung Live.”
The limited-time deals on Live Commerce are only available till August 17. While Galaxy Z Fold4 comes in Gray-green, Beige, Phantom Black, and Burgundy tones, Galaxy Z Flip4 is available in Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, and Blue finishes.
The Flip4 and Fold4—described as the strongest and most resilient foldable ever—come with protective layer Aluminum casings, a pivot cover, and premium Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the cover screen and rear glass.
