Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned a new 250 MW wind power facility at the world’s largest renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat. This brings the total operational capacity at Khavda to 2,250 MW, solidifying AGEL’s position as India’s leading renewable energy company with a total operational portfolio of 11,184 MW.

The Khavda plant features powerful 5.2 MW wind turbines, among the largest in the world, allowing for optimal land use and lower energy costs. These turbines are built with advanced German technology and manufactured in Adani New Industries Ltd’s (ANIL) integrated manufacturing facility near the Mundra port.

AGEL has transformed the previously barren Khavda land into a major clean energy hub, generating enough electricity to power over 16 million homes annually.
