Zomato has partnered with IRCTC to offer food delivery services directly to train coaches at over 100 railway stations across India. This service, called “Zomato – Food Delivery in Trains,” allows passengers to order food from their favorite restaurants via the Zomato app and have it delivered to their train compartment.
The service has already delivered over 1 million orders in 88 cities. Customers have raised concerns about delivery delays due to train schedules and requested options like cash on delivery. Zomato and IRCTC both emphasize their commitment to enhancing the travel experience for passengers by providing convenient and diverse food options.
