The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024. The results for the exam are expected to be announced within the next 24 to 48 hours.
The results were initially scheduled for June 30 but were delayed due to issues related to paper leaks in other exams. The CUET UG was held in May across 379 cities, both online and offline, with about 13 lakh candidates participating.
Following the release of the provisional answer key on July 6, students raised objections. As a result, a retest was conducted for 1,000 students on July 19, and a revised provisional answer key was issued on July 22.
The CUET UG exam covered 61 subjects, including languages, domain subjects, and a general test. Candidates were allowed to take up to six test papers, including domain subjects, a general test, and language papers. The exam was conducted in a hybrid format nationwide, with 15 subjects tested offline and the remaining 48 subjects tested online.
This year, over 13.4 lakh candidates registered for the exam, which is used for admission to undergraduate courses in various universities.
