Indian students achieved remarkable success at prestigious international Olympiads in Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, held this month. They earned accolades from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent figures.
These students, who underwent training at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) in Mumbai, brought home numerous medals and honors for India, including seven won by students from Maharashtra.
At the International Biology Olympiad in Kazakhstan, India secured one gold and three silver medals. The International Mathematical Olympiad in the United Kingdom saw India winning four golds, one silver, and an honorable mention.
India also excelled at the International Physics Olympiad in Iran, earning two golds and three silvers. The International Chemistry Olympiad in Saudi Arabia saw India bag one gold, two silvers, and a bronze medal.
HBCSE, a leading institution in science, technology, and mathematics education, is India’s hub for Olympiad programs in various fields. It attracts students from all over the country, providing them with opportunities to excel at an international level.
