Heavy rainfall in Agra caused water leakage in the Taj Mahal, but a drone inspection revealed no damage to the main dome, just seepage. The adjacent garden, however, remains flooded. This incident sparked concerns among locals and tourists about the monument’s preservation. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is monitoring the situation and will conduct necessary repairs and restore the garden once the rain subsides. Other historical sites in Agra also experienced minor damage from the heavy rainfall.
