A man in the UK was caught stealing so much electricity from his neighbors that their teenage daughter had to get a job to help pay their energy bills.

An electrician in Fife, Scotland, named Leslie Pirie, stole electricity from his neighbors, diverting their supply to his own home. This resulted in exorbitant electricity bills for the victims, Hugh and Tracy Torrance, forcing their teenage daughter to work to help pay them.

Pirie, who admitted to stealing electricity over a three-year period, was ordered to repay the 4,000 pounds he stole in monthly installments.
