The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will close registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 today, September 20, at 5 pm. Originally, the deadline was September 13, but it was extended. Interested candidates can register on the official CAT 2024 website. The exam, which will be held on November 24 in 170 cities, will have an application fee of Rs 2,500 for general category candidates and Rs 1,250 for reserved category candidates. Admit cards will be released on November 5.
To be eligible for the CAT exam, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 45%.
The exam seats are reserved as follows: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 27% for NC-OBC candidates, and 10% for EWS candidates.
