Ian Cameron, a renowned car designer who led Rolls-Royce design after BMW’s acquisition in 1998, was tragically killed at his home in Germany. The 74-year-old British national, known for his work on iconic models like the Ghost and Phantom, was stabbed during a robbery attempt.
Cameron’s wife, Verena Kloos, managed to escape the attack and alerted authorities. CCTV footage revealed that the power cables to the garage, where valuables were stored, had been deliberately cut. Police are investigating the crime, described as “violent,” and are actively searching for the suspect, who is described as tall and wearing light-colored pants, a dark-blue sweatshirt, yellow-green gloves, and a red backpack.
